Short description:
In 1886, the then 'Königliche Museen in Berlin' (Royal Museums in Berlin) acquired the antiquities Eduard Glaser had brought with him from his second journey to Yemen (April 1885-February 1886).
Upon request of the Royal Museums, the Austrian scholar David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912) published Eduard Glaser's finds which led to an extremely sharp reaction on the part of Glaser, as he had expressed his wish to have the material published by German scholars.
Hence, in addition to a description of Glaser monuments sold to the Royal Museums - GL 302 (p. 1) & GL 262 (p. 75), this handwritten work contains a lot of polemics against D.H. Müller who had actually encouraged Glaser to devote himself to the study of ancient South Arabia (comp. 'Vorrede' - p. I).
