Remarks:
In 1882, Eduard Glaser was requested by Hugo Count Logothetti (1852–1918), Consul of Austria-Hungary in Port Said, to investigate the general conditions for the procurement of horses in the Hedjaz and in Yemen respectively. For this purpose he prepared a photo report with short descriptions of various horses, which he submitted to Count Logothetti in the course of 1883.
