Freilich habe ich Hrn Glaser versprochen eine mit Uebersetzung versehene Abschrift gewisser Theile der Djesîrat zu geben, … wiederholte gelegentliche Mittheilungen an seinen Bruder, daß ich bereit bin diese Stücke einzusenden, verhielt sich Herr Glaser, der in Algiers ein Exemplar des Hamdani gefunden haben wollte, vollkommen ablehnend. ...'

This page is part of a manuscript by David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912), professor of Semitic philology at the University of Vienna, which contains a rebuttal to statements published by Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) in his work 'Mittheilungen über einige aus meiner Sammlung stammende sabäische Inschriften' on Müller's edition of al-Hamdānī's geography of the Arabian Peninsula ('Ṣifat Ǧazīrat al-ʿArab'). (pp. 89-102)
