'L. B.' (abbreviated for: Lieber Bruder! / Dear brother!)
Dein Eduard'
Short description:
Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) informs his elder brother Alois (1853-1931) about the results of his journey to Sweden where he attended the 8th International Congress of Orientalists.
He points out that his latest work ('Skizze der Geschichte Arabiens von den ältesten Zeiten bis zum Propheten Muhammad. Ausschließlich nach inschriftlichen Quellen') 'came as a real bombshell, foiling the plans of his opponents'.
