Momentan bin ich durch meine Bücher und Steine zu sehr in Anspruch genommen, da die Verhandlungen jetzt beendigt werden dürften ... wie ich hoffen darf, sehr günstig. Saget Alois, dasz ich vorgestern den Brief aus Constantinopel richtig erhalten habe.
Nun ist mir wieder ein Brief aus Port Said von Prof. Schweinfurth für Saaz avisirt. Ob er wol schon eingelaufen ist? Besten Grusz an Alle. Dein treuer Schwager Eduard'

He announces that he will only reply in the next few days, as he is very busy negotiating the sale of his collections (Arabic manuscripts and antiquities) from his third research sojourn in South Arabia (October 1887-September 1888)...
