'L. Bruder!
Siegmund studirt fleiszig. In Treue Eduard'
Short description:
Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) informs his elder brother Alois (1853-1931) that the Board of Trustees of the Royal Library in Berlin has recommended the acquisition of his collection of Arabic manuscripts from his second journey to Yemen (April 1885 - February 1886) and that the final decision will be made in three weeks.
Asking his brother not to disclose this information to third parties, he concludes this letter 'written in great haste' with information on their younger brother Sigmund (1857-1913) and their cousin Kamilla.
