'Dear Dr. Glaser, I have in safe keeping the 41 inscriptions and other monuments from Arabia belonging to you and I shall recommend the Trustees and the British Museum at their next meeting to purchase them for the nation.

Short description:
Peter le Page Renouf (1822–1897), Keeper of the Egyptian and Assyrian antiquities at the 'British Museum', informs Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) that he will recommend to the Board of the British Museum the acquisition of Glaser's collection of antiquities which the explorer had gathered during his second trip to Yemen (April 1885 - February 1886).
