'Verehrungswürdiger feḳîh. Ich würde es selbst nicht für möglich halten, dass man so sträflich bummlig sein kann, allein ich ersehe es aus Ihrem letzten Briefe schwarz auf weiss, dass schon wieder einige Monate ... seit ich die Beantwortung Ihres letzten Briefes vom 19.4. von einer Stunde zur andren verschob.
... Seitdem wurde ich von allen Seiten nach Glaser gefragt, ob er bald wieder kommt, ob er den Schatz der Königin Bilqis schon gefunden und wann seine Proclamation zum König der Republik der Vereinigten Staaten von Maʿin - Saba - Raidan und Salḳîn erfolgen werde.
... Augenblicklich sitze ich voller Ernst und Eifer (Alliteration!) hinter der Hommelschen Chrestomathie,... ... Er erleuchte auch ... die düsteren Pfade von Euer Hochwolgeboren ... H. Winkler'
