'Hochgeehrter Herr Doctor! Ich habe Ihr Schreiben vom 25/9 gestern erhalten und in der am Abend desselben Tages abgehaltenen Vollversammlung der Gesellschaft Ihrem Wunsche, die restlichen 2000 fl sofort zu erhalten, Ausdruck gegeben.
Die Versammlung hat einstimmig in diesem Sinn beschlossen, und unser Schatzmeister wird den betreffenden Betrag alsbald Ihrem Bruder übersenden.
Mit dem Wunsche, dass Sie Ihre Untersuchungen glücklich zu Ende führen, grüsst Sie bestens Ihr ergebener Knoll'

Philipp Knoll (1841-1900), Chairman of the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia', confirms that the 'Society' unanimously agreed to Eduard Glaser's request for an anticipated transfer of 2,000 fl. and that the funds will be transferred immediately to Glaser's brother (Alois).
