'Theuerster Freund! Zum Philologentag diese Woche hier gewesen. Ihre beiden Briefe Ende M�rz erhalten. Ebers hat an Prinz Leopold sich gewendet; darauf hatte Prinz Leopold die G�te, mich zur Audienz zu befehlen, damit ich ihm �ber Sie referire.
... Unterde� waren aber, wie mir Gr�nert mitteilt, die Prager nicht faul. Es werden Ihnen von dort h�chstwahrscheinlich weitere 5000 fl. bewilligt werden. Die ersten 48 Seiten meiner Chrestom. .... sind fertig autographirt. Gr�nert ist entz�ckt davon & studirt jetzt auch Sab�isch.

Fritz Hommel (1854-1936), German Professor of Semitic languages at the University of Munich, informs Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) that, according to Max Gr�nert (1849-1929), Professor of Semitic languages and literatures at the University of Prague, the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia' will provide an additional grant of 5,000 for Glaser's fourth research sojourn in Yemen.
Furthermore, Hommel provides an update on the progress of his work 'S�d-Arabische Chrestomathie'...
