Remarks:
In connection with the sale of his collections from his fourth journey to Yemen (January 1892-March 1894), Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) had expressed the intention of offering his finds at an affordable price in exchange for a decent living (i.e. through a professorship in his home country Austria which would be linked to a nostrification of his honorary doctorate).
