Diary 1 contains Glaser's departure from Ṣanʻâ, ethnographical and geographical notes of his fourth journey to Yemen (1892-94). And his transcriptions with notes of the inscriptions GL 1036 - GL 1606. The 106 fols. are mostly written in Gabelsberger shorthand. This diary was transcribed by Adolf Grohmann sine dato.
