'Verehrtester Herr Graf!
... Machen Sie gütigst von diesen Ergüssen eines betrogenen Wanderers keinen Gebrauch u. genehmigen Sie hochverehrter Herr Graf, meine Hochachtung und Ergebenheit Ihr stets bereitwilliger Glaser'

Remarks:
In 1882, Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) was requested by Count Logothetti to investigate the general conditions for the procurement of horses in the Hedjaz and in Yemen respectively. For this purpose he prepared a photo report with short descriptions of various horses, which he submitted to Count Logothetti in the course of 1883.
