'Hochgeehrter Herr Professor! In der Voraussetzung, dass Sie noch auf dem Lande weilen, wollte ich Ihnen erst gegen Mitte October schreiben, da Sie um diese Zeit nach Prag zur�ckkehren d�rften. Mein Buch ('Die Abessinier in Arabien und Afrika') ist seit 21. Septbr. im Buchhandel und hat, wie vielfache Zuschriften an mich beweisen, in den einschl�gigen Fachkreisen Anklang gefunden.
Es werden demn�chst mehrere Recensionen erscheinen ... durchwegs von den ersten Autorit�ten in Deutschland, Frankreich, England und Italien. Ein in Wien (von der Deutschen Rudnschau f�r Geographie und Statistik) verlangtes Recensionsexemplar habe ich einstweilen einzusenden abgelehnt, so lange ich nicht weisz, wer der Rezensent sein soll...
