'An die Gesellschaft zur F�rderung deutscher Wissenschaft, Kunst und Literatur in B�hmen. Indem ich f�r die g�tige Zusendung der so interessanten Mittheilung No. I ('Aus dem Berichte des Dr. Ed. Glaser �ber den Abschlu� seiner mit Unterst�tzung der Gesellschaft unernommenen Forschungsreise in Arabien') ergebenst danke, erlaube ich mir, der Gesellschaft, die mit jener Unterst�tzung so hochherzig die semitischen, insbesondere die wichtigen sab�istischen Studien gef�rdert hat, hiermit als sichtbares Zeichen meines Dankes .... den ersten Teil meiner 'S�darabischen Chrestomathie' zu �bersenden.
... In ausgezeichneter Hochachtung habe ich die Ehre mich zu unterzeichnen als Ihren ergebensten Dr. Fritz Hommel...'
Short description:
Fritz Hommel (1854-1936), professor of Semitic languagues at the University of Munich, sends a copy of his work 'S�darabische Chrestomathie' (South Arabian Chrestomathy) to the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia' in gratitude for the transmission of Eduard Glaser's report on his fourth trip to Yemen.
