'Hochgehrter Herr Vorsitzender! Obzwar ich wahrscheinlich schon am 6. M�rz die Heimreise antreten werde, so will ich dennoch, meinem Versprechen gem�sz, schon jetzt in K�rze �ber die Ergebnisse meiner diesmaligen Reise berichten.
Der S�den der arabischen Halbinsel pr�sentirt sich zur Zeit v�llig anders als in fr�heren Jahren. ... Alles in Allem kann ich auch diesmal circa 800 neue Nummern verzeichnen, was die Anzahl der von mir entdeckten Inschriften auf nicht weniger als 1800 erh�ht, was mit den VOR meinen Reisen bekanntgewordenen Texten etwa 2600 gibt... ... Ich bin in der Lage, eine ziemlich detaillirte, f�r manche Gebiete sogar ersch�pfend detaillirte, Karte zu entwerfen f�r das gesammte Land von Hadhramaut bis in die N�he von Mekka. (p. 5) ...
