Hochwolgeboren nach Saaz die Nachricht gelangen lieszen, dass f�r mich weitere 3000 fl im Laufe des Monats Juni 1893 und 2000 fl f�r Anfang 1894 bewilligt seien. Ich beehre mich, f�r diesen neuen Beweis von hochherzigem Wolwollen sowohl Ihnen, ... als auch der Gesellschaft meinen ergebensten Dank auszudr�cken. ...

Short description:
In his letter to the Chairman of the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia', Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) refers to the approval of a further grant of 5,000 Fl which shall be released in two instalments (3,000 Fl. in 1893 / 2,000 Fl. at the beginning of 1894). He expresses his heartfelt gratitude for 'this further proof of generous benevolence'.
Glaser admits that without the Society's generous support, his fourth and 'most successful trip' to Yemen would probably not have been possible. However, he raises concerns reg. the modalities ruling the publication of his works...
