This short article is an extract of Eduard Glaser's report to the 'Gesellschaft zur F�rderung deutscher Wissenschaft, Kunst und Literatur in B�hmen' (Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia) on his achievements during his fourth journey to Yemen (January 1892 - March 1894).
Special mention is made of Glaser's - collection of 800 new inscriptions - collection of 250 Arabic manuscripts
