Von der Mosse Sammlung erhielt ich vor acht Tagen wieder einige Blätter (92 ff.); ich habe sie beim besten Willen noch nicht durchsehen können... Von Dir. Erman bin ich seit Monaten ohne Nachrichten.

Short description:
The renowned German scholar and diplomat Johannes Heinrich Mordtmann (1852-1932) was entrusted by the then 'Königliche Museen zu Berlin' (Royal Museums) with the publication of the collection of inscriptions (incl. stone monuments) which Eduard Glaser had acquired during his third journey to Yemen (Oct. 1887-Sept. 1888) and, subsequently, ceded to the German-Jewish publisher and philanthropist Rudolf Mosse (1843-1920) who donated the collection to the Royal Museums.
In this letter, Mordtmann informs Eduard Glaser about the status of the publication of the collection of inscriptions (incl. original monuments) donated by Rudolf Mosse to the Royal Museums in Berlin.
