Contents:
This book is the English edition of Carl Peters' (1856-1918) publication 'Im Goldland des Altertums' in which he provides an account of his discovery of ancient cities and goldmines in regions along the Zambezi River which he had travelled between 1899 and 1901.
As far as his theory on Punt is concerned, Peters partly draws on assertions of Eduard Glaser.
