In the wake of the acquisition of several monumental stones bearing Ancient South Arabian inscriptions by the 'Royal Museums in Berlin' in 1886, the Austrian orientalist David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912) was commissioned to publish Eduard Glaser's finds originating from his second journey to Yemen (April 1885-Feb. 1886).
Items covered include, among others, - an inscription from Ḥadaqān (incl. relief with a representation of palm trees) - an altar from Ṣirwāḥ (limestone)
