Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) refers to a publication by the Austrian philologist of Semitic languages David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912) who, in 1898, had been appointed as co-leader of the Austrian Imperial Academy's expedition to South Arabia alongside Carlo Landberg (1848-1924), a German-Swedish Orientalist. After Landberg's resignation due to increasing conflict with D.H. Müller, the latter became the sole leader of the expedition.
Glaser sets out the circumstances under which he envisages further cooperation with Carlo Landberg, D.H. Müller and Fritz Hommel as well as the publication of 2000 ancient South Arabian inscriptions for the benefit of science (p. 8).
