The three volumes of the 'Glossaire Datinois' complement Count Carlo Landberg's monumental study '�tudes sur les dialectes de l'Arabie m�ridionale' (Studies of the Dialects of South Arabia) covering the dialects of the Ḥaḍramawt and Datinah regions of the southern Arabian Peninsula.
In his dictionary, the Swedish provides cross-references to several works of Eduard Glaser (1855-1908). However, just like Landberg's '�tudes', this dictionary is not free from sideswipes against Glaser:
e.g. Landberg accuses Glaser of 'having made too many mistakes to be considered an authority'. (Vol. II, p. 1228)
