The present short article reflects Prof. Fritz Hommel's opinion regarding the importance of the Ancient South Arabian inscriptions discovered by Eduard Glaser in Mārib for future research.
Further reference include Eduard Glaser's work 'Skizze der Geschichte Arabiens von den ältesten Zeiten bis zum Propheten Muhammad' which was submitted to selected scholars during the International Congress of Orientalists in Stockholm and to the Royal Academy of Sciences in Berlin (on Oct. 17th, 1889).
