In this article, David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912), Professor of Semitic languages at the University of Vienna, deals with Eduard Glaser's criticism expressed in 'Mittheilungen über einige aus meiner Sammlung stammende sabäische Inschriften. Nebst einer Erklärung in Sachen der D. H. Müller’schen Ausgabe der Geographie al-Hamdānīs' and claims to have ensured that Eduard Glaser be supported in his scientific work (p. 121).
This issue also contains a statement by Alexander Supan (1847-1920), editor of the journal 'Mitteilungen aus Justus Perthes' geographischer Anstalt', on his position in the controversy between Eduard Glaser and David Heinrich Müller (p.320).
