This article by Johannes Heinrich Mordtmann (1852-1932) contains a review of Eduard Glaser's work 'Skizze der Geschichte Arabiens von den ältesten Zeiten bis zum Propheten Muhammad. Ausschließlich nach inschriftlichen Quellen' (vol. 1).
Although he disagrees with Glaser's findings in several aspects such as the dating of the Minaean kingdom (pp. 181 ff.), the reviewer praises the outcome of Eduard Glaser's research sojourns in Yemen whilst expressing his hope that Glaser will refrain from polemics in future publications as it negatively affects the readability of his essays (pp. 173 & 193).
