In this pamphlet, Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) discusses the ways in which Gods are addressed and referred to in different cultures.
Basing himself on his reading of Ancient Arabian inscriptions in which peoples appear having been named after their Gods (e.g. Ammites = 'children of ʿAmm' - p. 6), Eduard Glaser deduces that Ham, Sem and Japheth must have been worshipped as gods (p. 14).
Furthermore, he claims that the name 'Jehovah, (Jahweh, Jah, Jahu)' as well as 'Jovis' and 'Jupiter' originated from the Indian 'Dyâu(s)-pitar' (= 'Heavenly Father' pp. 20-22).
