This article, published in the newly founded periodical 'Zeitschrift für die Kunde des Morgenlandes' (p. 7), is a rebuttal by the Austrian scholar David Heinrich Müller (1846-1912) to the criticism expressed by Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) in his work 'Mittheilungen über einige aus meiner Sammlung stammende sabäische Inschriften'.
It also reflects the support D.H. Müller had provided to Eduard Glaser by endorsing Glaser's applications for grants through assessments of Glaser's scientific skills and capacities. (pp. 109 ff.)
