This article contains the review of a map depicting the area of Yemen which Eduard Glaser had visited during his first journey (1882 to 1884), which was published in 'Petermanns Geographische Mitteilungen' no. 80.
According to Carl Rathjens (1887-1966), geographer and South Arabianist, the transliteration of names and places 'slavishly follows the spelling recorded by Glaser in his travelogues'.
