During his four journeys to Yemen (1882–1884, 1885–1886, 1887–1888, and 1892–1894), Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) collected approx. 850 manuscripts. The collections he had acquired during his first and second trips, i.e. a total of 264 of manuscripts were purchased by the 'Königliche Bibliothek zu Berlin' (Royal Library in Berlin) - now 'Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin' in 1884 and 1886.
This article contains a detailed description of the Glaser manuscript no. 37 held by the 'Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin'. It discusses the dating of the codex and some of the unique texts preserved in it.
