Contents:
With reference to an article published on July 13th, 1891, in the 'Deutscher Reichsanzeiger', the author covers the donation of a collection of stone monuments to the 'Royal Museums in Berlin' by Rudolf Mosse (1843-1920), which Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) had brought together during his third journey to Yemen (October 1887-September 1888).
The donation encompasses 33 inscription stones and 3 alabaster heads which Rudolf Mosse left to the Royal Museums as a gift, with the express intention of promoting Oriental studies in Germany.
The main piece of the collection is an inscription of 23 lines containing a treaty of alliance between three kings: the Sabaean King ʿAlhân, Gadarat, the king of the Ethiopians, and (Yadi'ab) Ghailan; king of Ḥaḍramawt.
