Egon Komorzynski's short biography of Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) focuses on Glaser's four journeys to Yemen (1882-1894). He highlights that Glaser was the third European taveller (after Thomas-Joseph Arnaud in 1843 & Joseph Halévy in 1869) who succeeded in penetrating as far as Mārib.
The collection of artefacts that Glaser had brought back from his fourth journey (1892-1894) is now in the possession of the Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) in Vienna.
