Gewiß wird aber ein Weg zur Erfüllung dieser Bedingungen gefunden werden ... Es ist aber für Sie und uns von allerhöchster Wichtigkeit, daß Sie ohne vorherige Verständigung mit uns nichts Entscheidendes in dieser Angelegenheit unternehmen. Knoll'
Short description:
Philipp Knoll (1841-1900), chairman of the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia' congratulates Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) on the outcome of his fourth trip to Yemen (January 1892 - March 1894). With regard to Glaser's annoyance with Austrian institutions expressed in an earlier letter, he urges the explorer not to take any step without first consulting the 'Society'.
