'Hochgehrter Herr Vorsitzender! Es freut mich ungemein, Euer Hochwolgeboren mittheilen zu k�nnen, dass mein Gep�ck (nicht die Aufzeichnungen, die ich pers�nlich mit mir f�hre),... gl�cklich an die K�ste gelangt ist. Die Sache hat Geld und schlaflose N�chte gekostet. Im Groszen und Ganzen wird nichts oder nicht viel fehlen.
... Das Bewusztsein, meine Pflicht erf�llt zu haben und die Zufriedenheit der wenigen Personen, welche mich ihrer Unterst�tzung und Antheilnahme w�rdig fanden, gen�gen mir vollkommen.
Mit ausgezeichneter Hochachtung Eu. Hochwolgeboren dankbar ergebener E. Glaser' P.S. ... Wenn alles klappt, reise ich von Aden am 26. Feber heim (mittels Lloyd Dampfer) und d�rfte dann circa 10. M�rz in Triest, 13. M�rz in Saaz sein und gleich darauf, falls diesz gew�nscht wird, in Prag. ...
Short description:
Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) informs the Chairman of the 'Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia' Philipp Knoll (1841-1900) that his luggage which was eventually delivered and that he expects only a few items to be missing. He intends to leave Aden on Feb. 26th, 1894, and is prepared to report to the 'Society' after his return to Saaz (Žatec) planned for March 13th, 1894.
