The article contains a review of Eduard Glaser's book 'Skizze der Geschichte und Geographie Arabiens von den ältesten Zeiten bis zum Propheten Muhammad' (vol. I).
The French scholar Joseph Halévy (1827-1917) provides an overview of the contents (6 chapters) and praises Eduard Glaser's contribution to the study of the history and languages of ancient South Arabia.
