This article contains a short review of Eduard Glaser's work 'Die Abessinier in Arabien und Afrika auf Grund neu entdeckter Inschriften'.
The author emphasises that Eduard Glaser (1855-1908) 'for the first time ever discusses the relations of the Roman and Persian Empires with the Axumites and the Himjars, their Arab rivals' and recommends reading 'this small work which offers a wealth of new information'.
